DAY 01 

Pick-up in Bangkok Airport and tranfer to Royal River Hotel 
The hotel has three diffenrent restaurants. One is a kareoke place. The other two where one is outside on the terrace and the inside serve really good food. I can recommend eating there.

DAY 02

Pick-up after breakfast for a boatride on the klongs (canals) to Bang Yai, which is an autentic area in Bangkok, and not many turists come here. Lunch in a local restaurant. After lunch visit The Royal Boat Museum. Return to the hotel. In the evening you will be transfered to a Cruise on Chao Phraya river with a huge thai dinner.

DAY 03

You will visit Ayutthaya the old city where the King lived. It is 80 km north of Bangkok. Lunch in a local restaurant.

DAY 04


After breakfast you will visit Wat Pho with the resting Buddha. He is 46m long and 15m tall.
After Wat Pho you continue to The Grand Palace. Remember noble dresscode. No beachsandals and skirt/trowsers to your knees and the shoulders should be covered (t-shirt with short sleeves is ok)

DAY 05

Departure to the airport for Chiang Mai, where you will be picked up by your guide and taken to your hotel. The afternoon is used to visit the holy mountain Doi Suthep. Later you will go to handycraft places and see silkworms and how they make the cloth from these threads. A silversmith is also on the program. After all this you will return to your hotel.

DAY 06

At 08:30 am you will be off for the most northern point in Thailand. En route you will visit an elephant camp, where you will have one hour riding. After finishing the elephant visit you will go on a longtale boatride on Nam Mae Kok river, where The long neck people (Padaung stammen) live. They are very good making cloth and you can get a good price here. From here you continue to Mae Sai, which is the border town to Burma (Myanmar).

DAY 07 


After breakfast the tour this day will start at "The Golden Triangle" and next a visit to The Opium Museum. From Mekong Riverīs shoreside you will go on a boatride to Laos where there is a short stopover. Later you will go to Chiang Rai, where you will stay very close to the night market. Here ends the guided tour.

DAY 08 - either


You can either use the day walking around Chiang Rai. You make the decision.

Or you can fly from Chiang Rai via Bangkok to Trat, which is the nearest airport to Koh Chang. The hotel takes care of transport from and to the airport. You will arrive approx. ca.06:30 pm.  You will stay in Penny's Bungalow Resort. You make up your mind for how long time you will stay on this island Koh Chang. The accomodation is bungalows as you can see from the name. On Koh Chang there has a fantastic variated  landscape and wildlife.
