Lions often rest on rocky places and then you can ask yourself who is watching who ? It can be very difficult to spot the game because there are many trees and bushes growing here. But make the guide drive slowly so you have a chance to see what is hiding between the bushes.

Meals : Breakfast, lunch, dinner
DAY 05 : AMBOSELI

The animals in Amboseli are quite easy to spot, because the landscape is fairly flat. Of course there are trees and bushes which can make it a bit difficult but cheetahs and hyenas are often out in the open. Enjoy the day with game drives and notice all the birds. Try to spot the saddlebilled stork when it is fishing in small waterholes. It is the tallest of all storks and it has a red spot on the chest. Take a dip in the swimmingpool and have a drink.

If you are really lucky you can see wild dogs here. There are not many of these in Kenya but in Lake Nakuru they have been seen the last few years. There also are lots of buffaloes and waterbucks here. Both black and white rhinos are present. There is no difference in the colour, but the white rhino got its name from its wide mouth. It is very much up to your taste and money if you think it is worth it. The price is something like 400 USD, included is champagne breakfast.
