Day 1 Friday
Pick-up in Bangkok airport and
transfer to Royal River Hotel The
hotel has three diffenrent restaurants. One is a kareoke place. The
other two where one is outside on the terrace and the inside serve
really good food. I can recommend eating there.

Day 2 Saturday
Pick-up
after Breakfast for a boatride on the Klongs (canals) heading for
Bang Yai, which is an autentic area in Bangkok, and
where turists rarely visit. Lunch in a local restaurant. After
lunch you visit
The Royal Boat Museum. Back to the hotel. In the evening you will be
collected for a Dinner Cruise
on Chao Phraya River. You will be served a great Thai Meal.

Day 3 Sunday
This
day you are on your own – you can go to the week-end
market Chatuchak – opened from 7 am to 6 pm, or you can do
what you like the best.

Day 4 Monday
You visit Ayutthaya the ancient city of The King. It is 80 km north of Bangkok. Lunch in a local restaurant.

Day 5 Tuesday
After Breakfast you visit Wat Pho with the resting Buddha. He is 46 m long and 15 m tall.
After
Wat Pho you visit the
Grand Palace. Remember the dress code. No sandals,
dress must reach the knees and shoulders must be covered (t-shirt
with short sleeves is ok)

Day 6 Wednesday
7:30 am Pick-up at the hotel. Now you will go on an overland drive 250
km (3 ½ hours) to Aranya Prathet.
At
11 am arrival at the bordertown, where you cross to
Cambodia. First you check-out from Thailand. Next you walk a
short distance to the Cambodian check-in point. Here you fill in
a form and you pay 1000 THB and you get a visa. When all this is
done you leave the building. Your local cambodian guide will meet you
and take you to the waiting Car/Minibus. The town on the cambodian site
is called Poipet.
At 12 noon transfer to
Battambang. Lunch in a local restaurant and dinner at the hotel.

Day 7 Thursday
A
full days sightseeing in Battambang and the surrounding
areas Phnom Banon a native village included. Lunch in a local

Day 8 Friday
A trip to Pailin via Treng through dense rainforest. Lunch in a local restaurant in Pailin.

Day 9 Saturday
You will leave Battambang on The Speedboat Ferry for Siem Reap via Tonie Lap. Transfer and check in at a good
Turist Hotel close to the city centre. In the afternoon you visit Angkor Wat and Phnom Bakhen.

Day 10 Sunday
After
Breakfast you visit The Angkor complex with the southern gate of Angkor
Thom and Bayon,
Baphoun, Elephant Terracces, Leper
King Terrace, and The Royal Palace Area included. You continue to
explore the picturesque Ta
Prohm, which almost disappeared into The Jungle, a strange
unforgettable and exotic scenery. Those fantastic treeroots which push
there way through the stone blocks to The Temple in a kind of
embracement give the visitors a feeling they will never forget.
During the afternoon you visit Preah Khan a jungle temple, East Mebon
and
Pre Rup.

Day 11 Monday
After
Breakfast you are taken approx. 45
min. out to the beauty of nature at Siem Reap with a stop to visit a
local village. At arrival at the pier you enter a wooden boat for 1
½ hours sailing on Tonle Sap Lake, also known as The
Great Cambodian Lake. You are going to visit a floating village
with houses, school, market and a police station. You will se the
children swimming and you will visit a freshwater aquarium with several
different fish.

Day 12 Tuesday
You
can relax and do what you want this day. I would suggest a helicopter
tour. The price is approx 100 USD but it is worth every penny.

Day 13 Wednesday
You will be picked up for departure
for Vietnam, Hanoi 20:55 VN800 REP – HAN, or another flight. At
arrival you will be picked-up and transferred to your hotel.

Day 14 Thursday
You
will be collected in the morning and transferred to Halong Bay. When you
have entered the Halong Jasmine sails are set, and you will sail
through the bay while lunch is served. You pass the magic bay, where
thousands of sculpture looking sandstone islands raise from the waves
like dragon teeth. After lunch you will be taken for a short walk to
one of the peaks with a fantastic view to the bay and The Halong
Jasmines golden sail, you will swim at a quiet beach and sunbathe on
the deck. Later that afternoon you will visit a fishing village, where
you will get in contact with the fishermen who have been here through
three generations. At sunset you will enjoy a cocktail while we watch
the sun disappear and then you will have a fine meal in Jasmine's restaurant.

Day 15 Friday
After Breakfast transfer to your daytour boat, with your own private crew, and you will sail to the Bay's most untuched areas.
You can swim in peaceful surroundings, you will visit watertunnels, fishing
villages og you have a ride in a kayak. Lunch will be served by your
private Chef. You return to Jasmine for the night.

Day 16 Saturday
You
greet the day doing Tai
Chi exercises with the possibility of seeing the sunrise over the bay.
After Breakfast you visit a chalk cave. Then you return to Jasmine and
you will get the last glimse of Halong Bay while we cruise back to the
pier.
Transfer to Hanoi and you will be dropped off at your hotel. Lunch and Dinner in a local restaurant.

Day 17 Sunday
A
full day city tour in the charming capital Hanoi, with its ochre yellow
buildings from the colonytimes, avenues with beautiful trees and a lot
of ponds. You visit The One Pillar Pagode, modern formed like a lotus
on its stalk. It emerges from the water only resting on a single stone
pillar. Inside there is a statue of Goddes of Mercy with her legendary
"thousand arms and thousand eyes”. From there find your way to
The Litterature Temple to get an overview from Hanoi's
culture and history During the afternoon you stroll through The Old
Quarter's where 36 streets are named after 36 products, used by the
natives, and you visit Hoa
Lo Prison,
famous in The States with the name Hanoi Hilton, it is also known as
Hell on Earth. You enjoy one hour ride on a bicycle around the city.
You visit The Lake of Restored Sword (
localy called Hoan Kiem Lake ) and it's Ngoc Son Tempel.
This
evening you will enjoy a puppet watershow. This is a unique Fine Art
from North Vietnam with special designed scenes from everyday life and
with lots of episodes from the national history. Lunch and Dinner in a local restaurant.

Day 18 Monday
Approx.
9 am you will meet a famous local Chef from Hanoi. This elderly
Lady has enherited a special form of cooking from her mother, who
used to be Chef in The French Embassador in Hanoi in the feefties. You
will walk with the Chef to an interesting market and enjoy the
atmosphere in this daily local Hang Be market. You will be given
the possibility to learn, how you pick fresh ingredients. After
buying the raw material you will follow her to her cookingplace, to get
a private demonstration of the art of cooking. Lunch is what you have
prepared. Rest of the day you are on your own. Dinner in a local restaurant.

Day19 Tuesday
Transfer
to the airport for your homeflight. You can go back to Bangkok or you
can leave for your home destination. It is also possible to go to a
beach to relax for some days for an extra fee.
